Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily convert to the illumination using LED by providing an electrode for taking the power source into a power source circuit portion, with the shape insertable into an electrode inserting port of a lighting system for a fluorescent lamp or an incandescent lamp. SOLUTION: A light source module 11 provides a shape, size, connection method with a power source and the outgoing characteristic of light almost equal to a fluorescent lamp 1, by using an LED. In the light source module 11, the light guide wave is obtained from a pattern on a surface of a light guide rod with pattern 12 to make a linear light source same as the fluorescent lamp 1. An illuminating portion comprises an LED array 13 and the light guide rod with pattern 12. Since the voltage converted into DC is to be applied to the LED, the power source circuit portion 14 must comprise a rectifying circuit and a voltage converting circuit. The electrodes 16, 17 for taking the power source are provided with the shape insertable into the inserting ports of the power source 16, 17 of the lighting system for the fluorescent lamp 1 or the incandescent lamp.

Instead of these light sources, light emitting diodes (LEDs) which are fixed light emitting elements using semiconductors are used. ) Is considered to be used as a light source for indoor lighting. That is, the LED is expected as a lighting means in the future because of its features such as small size, high brightness and long life. At present, its conversion efficiency is not so good at about 1/6 that of general fluorescent lamps, so it is not widely used in the field of lighting. However, considering the above features and the possibility of LEDs, in the near future, LED Could become the mainstream of lighting.

(1) Current lighting devices, particularly indoor fluorescent lamps, are often embedded in buildings. In some cases, even if it is not embedded, it may be difficult to remove it, or the lighting device may be used as an interior and used as one of the room components. Therefore, replacing the entire lighting device involves considerable difficulty. (2) Even with the current lighting, there are few inconveniences in use depending on the user, except that the efficiency is low. Also, the inefficiency needs to be improved at the national or global level, but as an individual user, the electricity bill changes only slightly and does not pose a problem.

In the initial state of the fluorescent lamp 1, a current flows through the lighting circuit 4, and the filaments 2 and 3 of the fluorescent lamp 1 are heated. When the filament has warmed to some extent, the lighting circuit 4 is turned off, a voltage is applied to the fluorescent lamp 1 to generate a discharge, and the lamp is lit. Therefore, at the time of lighting, the circuit is connected by the fluorescent lamp 1.

What is necessary is that it is almost the same as a fluorescent lamp. However, since the circuit portion 11A and the light source portion 11B have different lifespans, it is not efficient to integrate them and dispose them according to one lifespan. Therefore, it is desirable that the circuit portion 11A and the light source portion 11B be separate modules as shown in the figure. Such a module makes it possible to easily use LED lighting in a conventional lighting device for a fluorescent lamp simply by replacing the fluorescent lamp with the present module.
