Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently generate power in a generating device by mounting an entire surface electrode on one surface of a film-like piezo-electric substance and a plurality of segment electrodes on the other surface thereof and connecting the entire surface electrode to one terminal and the segment electrodes through respective rectifiers to the other terminal.
CONSTITUTION: Entire surface electrodes 2, 3 are formed on the front and back surfaces of a film-like piezo-electric substance 1, lead wires 4, 5 are connected to the electrodes 2, 3, respectively, and the displacing motion of a wave 6 applied to the substance 1 is converted to an output voltage. Since there occurs positive voltage when the wave 6 is coming and negative voltage when the wave 6 is going as in this state, a rectifier 7 is inserted into one lead wire 4 to produce only the positive voltage therefrom. In this configuration the surface electrode 2 is not formed as the entire surface electrode, but divided into a plurality of electrodes 3A1∼3An, 3B1∼ 3Bn, and rectifiers 7A1∼7An, 7B1∼7Bn are connected to the respective lead wires 4A1∼4An, 4B1∼4Bn. Thus, the output voltage is smoothed to obtain desired DC voltage.
