Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the mechanical vibration transfer characteristics of a marked chip by forming and metallizing a chip fitting part at one terminal of the cantilever of a record reproducing vibrating element, etc., and by carrying out micro-spot welding while a chip with its base processed similarly is mounted on the fitting part.
CONSTITUTION: At one tip of cantilever 1, stylus-chip fitting part 2 is formed and then metallized in the vapor-phase plating method of P.V.D, V.D, etc., sich as ion- plating and sputtering so as to form metal coating 4. In addition, the base of stylus chip 3 made of a material such as diamond is similarly methallized to form metal coating 5. The base of this chip 3 is mounted on fitting part 2 and their contact parts are irradiated with laser beams, electron beams, etc., for micro-spot welding 6, thereby welding them tightly.
