Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the shape adaptability to a living body and pressure resistance, by containing at least one kind of a physiological saline solution, Ringer's solution and artificial plasma in a mixture consisting of a predetermined calcium phosphate powder and saturated carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of a component selected from a physiological saline solution, Ringer's solution and artificial plasma is contained in a mixture consisting of a calcium phosphate powder, which consists of tricalcium phosphate [alpha-Ca3(PO4)2] and tetracalcium phosphate [Ca4O(PO4)2] and saturated carboxylic acid having two or more carboxylic groups. The calcium phosphate powder is pref. prepared by dehydrating and thermally decomposing hydroxyapatite wherein a mol ratio of calcium and phosphorus is 1.66-1.68 at high temp. of 1,350 deg.C or more, pref., 1,500 deg.C or more in the atmosphere, pref., in an inert gas atmosphere of nitrogen or argon and grinding the resulting composition.
