Abstract

The method involves a fan sucking in air, dividing into main and secondary flows, passing the main flow through a dehumidifying sector of an absorption rotor, passing the subsidiary flow after heating through a regeneration sector and passing the dried, heated main flow through a re-cooler then to the absorption rotor wholly or partially via a bypass with a flow regulating element. The secondary flow is regulated by a second regulating element. The method involves a fan (12) sucking in an external air flow (10), dividing the flow into main and subsidiary flows on the pressure side of the fan, passing the main flow through a dehumidifying sector (24) of the absorption rotor (22), passing the subsidiary flow after heating through a regeneration sector (26) of the absorption rotor and passing the dried and heated main flow through a re-cooling device. Depending on the required dehumidification power, the main flow is passed to the absorption rotor wholly or partially via a bypass (34) with a flow regulating element (32) and the secondary flow is regulated by a second regulating element (36). AN Independent claim is also included for the following: an air conditioning system.
