Abstract

The subject of the application is a method of ex vivo imaging examination of prostate gland tissues using the luminance method, which is characterized in that the structure of ex vivo prostate gland tissue (1) is examined superficially on a given tissue area (2) based on a high-resolution image taken by a matrix luminance meter head (4) and saved in the RAW format, and its image transformed into the luminance distribution of the surface (2) of this tissue, while ensuring uniform conditions of the incident light flux from the lighting (3) on the surface of the ex vivo tissue (1), wherein the surface analysis of the luminance distribution of ex vivo prostate gland tissue is related to its identification in terms of possible pathological changes of a neoplastic nature.
