Abstract

The application discloses a pixel circuit and a display panel using the same. The pixel circuit is coupled to a control circuit. The pixel circuit includes: a write circuit for receiving a data signal and a gate control circuit; a driving circuit coupled to the write circuit; and a light emission element coupled to the driving circuit. In a data write phase, the gate control signal conducts the write circuit, the data signal writes into the driving circuit via the write circuit, an emission control signal turns off the control circuit and the light emission element does not emit light. In an emission phase, the gate control signal turns off the write circuit, the emission control signal turns on the control circuit and the light emission element emits light.
