Abstract
A supporting mechanism includes a base, a first bracket, a second bracket, a rack slider and a supporting component. The first bracket is pivoted on the base and has a first gear. The second bracket is pivoted on the base and has a second gear. The rack slider is slidably disposed to the base, and engages with the first gear and the second gear. The supporting component connects the rack slider. A flexible display screen is adapted to lean against the supporting component. The supporting component is adapted to move closer to the base to accommodate the flexible display screen, or move away from the base to provide support for the flexible display screen as the rack slider moves relative to each other. A foldable electronic device is further provided.
