Abstract
A convenient and portable space partitioning device comprises a partitioning frame, having an upper frame member, a lower frame member, and two side frame members joined between the upper frame member and the lower frame member, and a hallow space being provided between the upper frame member and the lower frame member. A partitioning cover body, covering an outer surface of the partitioning frame member, is easily removed from the partitioning frame member, while the partitioning cover body and the partitioning frame member are stored conveniently. Moreover, the partitioning cover body has a zipper on both edges of the partitioning frame member, the zipper having a sliding fastener on at least one edge of the partitioning frame member, and the partitioning cover body being bonded to another one of the adjacent partitioning cover body by the zipper and the sliding fastener.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a space partitioning member, and more particularly to a convenient and portable space partitioning member.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A space partitioning member is a popular device that is used for partitioning a space of a specific area such as an office or a family house to create a privacy for an office worker. A space partitioning member can also be used for implementing a flexibility of space if an element of the space partitioning member can be assembled with other elements of the space partitioning member. However, the assembly of the space partitioning member is tended to be difficult because of its weight and its complexity of elements.

Therefore, there are drawbacks of heavy weight and complexity for building a conventional space partitioning member.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a light weight, easy storage and easy installation of a convenient and portable space partitioning device. A partitioning frame, having an upper frame member, a lower frame member, and two side frame members joined between the upper frame member and the lower frame member, and a hallow space being provided between the upper frame member and the lower frame member. A partitioning cover body, covering an outer surface of the partitioning frame member, the partitioning cover body having a zipper on both edges of the partitioning frame member, the zipper having a sliding fastener on at least one edge of the partitioning frame member, and the partitioning cover body being bonded to another one of the adjacent partitioning cover body by the zipper and the sliding fastener.

According to the present invention, wherein both ends of the upper frame member are welded with the two side frame members.

According to the present invention, wherein the side frame member includes a first side frame element and a second side frame element, and the first side frame element has a first engaging portion which is joined with a second engaging portion of the second side frame element.

According to the present invention, wherein the first side frame element and the second side frame element are joined by a side frame extension element provided therebetween.

According to the present invention, wherein the partitioning cover body is a cloth body.

According to the present invention, wherein the upper frame member, the lower frame member and the two side frame members are a hollow tubular body.

According to the present invention, wherein the space of the partitioning frame member is provided with a soundproofing member.

According to the present invention, wherein the space of the partitioning frame member is provided with a magnetic boards.

According to the present invention, wherein one edge of the partitioning cover body has a plurality of the zippers, and there is provided between the partitioning cover body and the adjacent partitioning cover body with the sliding fastener which correspond to the plurality of the zippers.

According to the present invention, wherein the partitioning frame member has a foot, the foot is pivotally connected to the bottom of side frame member.

According to the present invention, wherein the partitioning frame has a hallow space so as the characteristic of the partitioning frame is light weight. Further, the partitioning cover body is easily removed from the partitioning frame member and folded, so the storage of the partitioning cover body is smoothly. In the preferred embodiment, the partitioning frame can be removed, so the storage of the partitioning frame more convenient. Moreover, the partitioning cover body is bonded to another the adjacent partitioning cover body by the zipper. Multiple convenient and portable space partitioning devices are assembled easily to achieve the effect of simple separated space.

The detailed description of the invention which follows is made with reference to the drawings and in terms of a preferred embodiment of the invention. The detailed description is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and the only limitations intended are those embodied in the claims hereto.

FIG. 3is an enlarged view illustrating a schematic part of zipper in an embodiment of convenient and portable space partitioning member which is enlarged from part A of
FIG. 2, in the present invention. A convenient and portable
space partitioning device100 according to the present invention includes a partitioning
frame member1 and a
partitioning cover body2. The partitioning
cover body2 covers an outer surface of the partitioning
frame1. The material of the partitioning
cover body2 may be made of a cotton cloth, a wool cloth body, or a plastic cloth body.

The partitioning
frame member1 has an
upper frame member11, a
lower frame member12, a
side frame member13 a joined between one side of the
upper frame member11 and the
lower frame member12, and another
side frame member13 b joined between the other side of the
upper frame member11 and the
lower frame member12. At the bottom of the
side frame member13 a and a bottom of the
side frame member13 b, there are provided a
foot portion14 respectively. The
side frame member13 a includes a first
side frame element131 a and a second
side frame element132 a, and the
side frame member13 b includes a first
side frame element131 b and a second
side frame element132 b.

The two ends of the
upper frame member11 are welded to join with the first
side frame element131 a and the first
side frame element131 b, and the two ends of the
lower frame member12 are welded to join with the second
side frame element132 a and the second
side frame element132 b. The first
side frame element131 a is provided with a first
engaging portion133 a to join with a second
engaging portion134 a of the second
side frame element132 a. The first
side frame element131 b is provided with a first
engaging portion133 b to join with a second
engaging portion134 b of the second
side frame element132 b. Moreover, a hallow space S is allocated within the
upper frame member11, the
lower frame member12, the
side frame member13 a, and the
side frame member13 b. The
upper frame member11, the
lower frame member12, the
side frame member13 a, and the
side frame member13 b are elements such as hallow tubes, so the weight of the convenient and portable
space partitioning device100 is lighter.

As an embodiment of the present invention, in
FIG. 2, the partitioning
cover body2 is a cloth body which is a rectangular hollow cover. In
FIG. 3, one edge of the
partitioning cover body2 is provided with two
zippers21. The
zipper21 in one edge of the
partitioning cover body2 is provided with a sliding
fastener22. Alternatively, there are two
zippers21 each with one sliding
fastener22 in both edges of the
partitioning cover body2. The
zipper21 is provided in an
extension element23 which extends from the
partitioning cover body2. The inner of the
partitioning cover body2 forms a containing space to cover the
partitioning frame member1. At lateral edge of the partitioning cover body is provided an opening facing toward the
lower frame member12. The opening is for covering the containing space of the
partitioning cover body2.

In another embodiment of the present invention, there is provided with one zipper or more than two zippers in an edge of the partitioning cover body. There is a sliding fastener provided between one partitioning cover body and the adjacent partitioning cover body. One sliding fastener corresponds to one zipper or more zippers, which is not shown. The two adjacent partitioning cover bodies bond together with the sliding fastener which corresponds to one zipper or more zippers.

FIG. 4a, which is a schematic exploded stereogram illustrating another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the embodiment, the partitioning frame 1 a of the convenient and portable
space partitioning member100 a has a
upper frame member11, a
lower frame member12, a
side frame member13 c joined between one side of the
upper frame member11 and the
lower frame member12, and a
side frame member13 d joined between another side of the
upper frame member11 and the
lower frame member12. The
side frame member13 c includes a first
side frame element131 c, a second
side frame element132 c, and a side
frame extension element135 a. The
side frame member13 d includes a first
side frame element131 d, a second
side frame element132 d, and a side
frame extension element135 b. The two ends of the
upper frame member11 are welded to join the first
side frame element131 c and the first
side frame element131 d. The two ends of the
lower frame member12 are welded to join between the second
side frame element132 c and the second
side frame element132 d. The first
side frame element131 c is provided with a first
engaging portion133 c, which joins with a third
engaging portion137 a of the side
frame extension element135 a. The second
side frame element132 c provided with a second
engaging portion134 c, which joins with a forth engaging
portion138 a of the side
frame extension element135 a. Moreover, the first
side frame element131 d is provided with a first
engaging portion133 d, which joins with a third
engaging portion137 b of the side
frame extension element135 b. The second
side frame element132 d provided with a second
engaging portion134 d, which joins with a forth engaging
portion138 b of the side
frame extension element135 b. The convenient and portable
space partitioning member100 a can be adjusted by applying above method to provide different height and/or width.

FIG. 4b, which is a schematic exploded stereogram illustrating another embodiment of the present invention. The partitioning frame lb of the convenient and portable
space partitioning member100 b has an
upper frame member11, a
lower frame member12, a
side frame member13 e joined between one side of the
upper frame member11 and the
lower frame member12. A
side frame member13 f is joined between another side of the
upper frame member11 and the
lower frame member12. The
side frame member13 e includes a first
side frame element131 e and a second
side frame element132 e. The
side frame member13 f includes a first
side frame element131 f and a second
side frame element132 f. A
transverse accessory136 is welded between the first
side frame element131 e and the first
side frame element131 f. Therefore, the
transverse accessory136 strengthens the whole structure of the convenient and portable
space partitioning member100 b.

partitioning frame1 c of the convenient and portable
space partitioning member100 c has an
upper frame member11, a
lower frame member12, a
side frame member13 g, a
side frame member13 h, and a
transverse accessory136 welded between the
side frame member13 g and the
side frame member13 h. A soundproofing
member3 is provided with the
lower frame member12, the
side frame member13 g, the
side frame member13 h, and the
transverse accessory136. Another soundproofing
member3 a is provided with the
upper frame member11, the
side frame member13 g, the
side frame member13 h, and the
transverse accessory136. The material of the soundproofing member is foam material.

partitioning frame1 c of the convenient and portable
space partitioning member100 d has an
upper frame member11, a
lower frame member12, a
side frame member13 i, a

transverse accessory136 welded between the
side frame member13 i and the
side frame member13 j. A
magnetic board4 is provided with the
lower frame member12, the
side frame member13 i, the
side frame member13 j, and the
transverse accessory136. A
magnetic board4 a is provided with the
upper frame member11, the
side frame member13 i, the
side frame member13 j, and the
transverse accessory136. The magnetic board is a hard magnetic material or a soft magnetic material. Preferably, the thickness of the magnetic board is less than 0.3 centimeter. The best thickness of the magnetic board is 0.1 centimeter. A magnetic substance is applied to attach one object on the magnetic board.

As shown in the embodiment, the space partitioning member of the present invention having a plurality of the adjacent partitioning cover bodies is extended by bonding a plurality of the zippers and the slide fastener slider with each other to form a spread state. Moreover, please refer to
FIG. 5b, which are schematic exploded stereogram views illustrating another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the embodiment, the adjacent partitioning cover bodies with different heights, such as the
partitioning cover body2 b and the
partitioning cover body2 c, are bonded with each other by applying a plurality of the zippers and the sliding fastener.

Please refer to
FIG. 6a to
FIG. 6f, which are schematic top views illustrating another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the embodiment, the adjacent partitioning cover bodies are formed with diverse modes by applying a plurality of the
zippers21 and the sliding fastener bonded with each other. The diverse mode includes as the bonding of two adjacent partitioning cover bodies, three adjacent partitioning cover bodies, four adjacent partitioning cover bodies, and five adjacent partitioning cover bodies. Further, please refer to
FIG. 6b and
FIG. 6c, the adjacent partitioning cover bodies can be implemented by adjusting angle (0-360°) between each other. The convenient and portable space partitioning device can be grounded on the floor as a plurality of the adjacent
partitioning cover bodies2 are bonded by the zippers and the sliding fastener.

Please refer to
FIG. 7a to
FIG. 7c, which are schematic views illustrating another embodiment of the present invention. The single convenient and portable space partitioning device or the bonded convenient and portable space partitioning devices can be grounded on the floor with a
foot15. The
foot15 has a
perpendicular portion151. A foot wed 152 is pivotally connected to the bottom of
side frame member13 k. The plastic film is covered in the inner wall of the
perpendicular portion151 to avoid scraping the
side frame member13 k. The connecting angle between the
foot15 and the
side frame member131 can be adjusted according to any specific space. Preferably, the angle of the
foot15 is fixed by screws. In another embodiment, the foot wed 152 a is provided with two
rollers153 and 153 a. In the other embodiment, the
foot base16 is pivotally to the
foot base roller161.

FIG. 8a, which are schematic views illustrating another embodiment of the present invention. The convenient and portable
space partitioning device100 j further includes a
corner retaining member5. The adjacent convenient and portable space partitioning devices are formed perpendicular to each other by the
corner retaining member5 having a
corner fixing member51 and a
corner fixing member52. Moreover, as shown
FIG. 8b, a
message board6 is provided on the
partitioning cover body2 h for human to record messages.

The above description should be considered as only the discussion of the preferred embodiments of the present invention. However, a person skilled in the art may make various modifications to the present invention. Those modifications still fall within the spirit and scope defined by the appended claims.
Claims (10)
1. A convenient and portable space partitioning device, comprising:
a partitioning frame, having an upper frame member, a lower frame member, and two side frame members joined between the upper frame member and the lower frame member, and a hollow space being provided between the upper frame member and the lower frame member; and
a partitioning cover body, covering an outer surface of the partitioning frame member, the partitioning cover body having a zipper on both edges of the partitioning frame member, the zipper having a sliding fastener on at least one edge of the partitioning frame member, and the partitioning cover body being bonded to another one of the adjacent partitioning cover body by the zipper and the sliding fastener.
2. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein both ends of the upper frame member are welded with the two side frame members.
3. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the side frame member includes a first side frame element and a second side frame element, and the first side frame element has a first engaging portion which is joined with a second engaging portion of the second side frame element.
4. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the first side frame element and the second side frame element are joined by a side frame extension element provided therebetween.
5. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the partitioning cover body is a cloth body.
6. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the upper frame member, the lower frame member and the two side frame members are a hollow tubular body.
7. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the space of the partitioning frame member is provided with a soundproofing member.
8. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the space of the partitioning frame member is provided with a magnetic boards.
9. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein one edge of the partitioning cover body has a plurality of the zippers, and there is provided between the partitioning cover body and the adjacent partitioning cover body with the sliding fastener which correspond to the plurality of the zippers.
10. The convenient and portable space partitioning device as claimed in
claim 1, wherein the partitioning frame member has a foot, the foot is pivotally connected to the bottom of side frame member.
