Definitions

• This invention relates to certain new and useful structural and functional improvements in diapers which, conjointly considered, have as a principal object of the invention to provide a diaper which is form-fitting, comfortable, easily applicable and removable and which when worn will have the outside appearance of a dry diaper although it maybe in need of changing.
• Another object of the invention is to provide a simple, practical and economical diaper of three part construction which embodies full and reliable .absorbent properties and provided with inwardly turned partially overlapping flaps or inside front and rear sections constituting additional padding and hence increased absorbency in the intermediate area of the diaper.
• a further object is to provide a diaper which will hold its shape and capable of withstanding mechanical washing and drying.
