PROMOTIONS HISTORY

無我ワールド・プロレスリン, Muga World Pro-Wrestling found its beginnings in 2006 after Osamu Nishimura left New Japan Pro Wrestling. Hiro Saito, Tatsutoshi Goto, as well as an executive officer of NJPW in Hidekazu Tanaka would also leave NJPW at this time and join along side Nishimura.
Later in the year of 2006 around June, Tatsumi Fujinami would also announce his formal resignation from NJPW and he would end up in connection with Nishimura the following month in July.
On July 12, Hidekazu Tanaka announced the formation of Muga World Pro Wrestling. Then just a few days later, Karl Gotch was appointed as the honorary adviser of the new promotion.
Muga World would hold their very first show on August 2, 2006 under the title “New Muga Legend Epilogue BLACK CAT MEMORIAL”.
Then on the 28th of August, 2 more wrestlers with prior connections to NJPW joined Muga in Yutaka Yoshie and Kazushi Takemura.
The promotion would continue to grow leading up to their true first show as Hiro Saito, Tatsutoshi Goto, and Mitsuya Nagaia joined the promotion on September 15th.
Muga would hold it first true tour from September 15th to the 25th as they held 5 shows throughout Western Japan.
Tatsumi Fujinami took no time to announce his own ambitions with the promotion and announced that he aims to see the promotion competing in the Nippon Budokan and even the Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumo Hall) within a year. Even going further out ahead by stating that he aspires to be at the Tokyo Dome in 3 years time. He also announced that Muga will be opening their doors to hold a tryout for new talent.
Muga’s second tour “Premium II” was held from October 31st to November 5th.
A mental blow struck the promotion on in July of 2007 with the passing of Karl Gotch.

October 19, 2007, Osamu Nishimura announced that he would be leaving Muga as he and fellow rookie Manabu Soya have officially signed on full-time under the promotion. It was mentioned that Nishumra left Muga due to the lack of shows held, as well as differences, and was a shock to many fans that he would leave the promotion that he help form. This also led to a dispute of Nishimura breaking his contract with Muga.

On December 13, 2007, Muga held a show at the Korakuen Hall in which Tatsumi Fujinami officially announced that this would be the very last show for Muga and that DRADITION, ドラディション, shall be the new name moving forward. Fujinami announced that DRADITION is the combination of his own nickname in “Dragon” as well as the English word in “tradition”.

Kazushi Takemura officially resigned from the promotion as well as he would move to compete under the Tokyo Gurentai faction/promotion, as TAKEMURA.

Tatsumi Fujinami would then align himself with several other former NJPW stars in Riki Choshu, The First Tiger Mask (Satoru Sayama), and even Ultimo Dragon. The announced that they would hold shows under the banner of LEGEND in the near future.

On July 23, 2009, Yutaka Yoshie officially announced that he would become a freelance wrestler going forward. In his absence, Ultimo Dragon as well as other notable wrestlers from other promotions would come in to compete in DRADITION.
Arashi would formally announce his resignation from the promotion in 2010, in which he joined the promotion in 2007.

On January 10, 2011 the very first Legend the Pro Wrestling show was officially held at the Korkuen Hall. This marked the first time in 13 years and 5 months that Fujinami and Choshu competed against one another.
