Despite appearing in Netflix's Top 10, Best. Christmas. Ever! isn't actually being received well by critics or audiences. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a total of 15 reviews, most of which are negative, making for a 33% percent score. A few critics have pointed out how ironic the movie's title is, such as Natasha Alvar of Cultured Vultures who says it's actually "one of the worst Christmas movies ever." Similarly, Coleman Spilde of The Daily Beast says Best. Christmas. Ever! "falls below the standard of even the most mediocre of the streamer’s original holiday movies."
