Carla Bruni,[1] now known by her name of use Carla Bruni-Sarkozy (born Carla Gilberta Bruni Tedeschi; 23 December 1967 in Turin, Italy) is an Italian-French singer, songwriter and former model. From 2008 to 2012, Bruni was the First Lady of France.
She married then President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy in February 2008. They have one child.
