The Metropolis Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a Zone on Mobius controlled by Dr. Eggman that existed during Operation: Clean Sweep.

History[]
During the period when Dr. Eggman's Operation: Clean Sweep altered reality and reshaped Mobius, Sonic and Tails, after splitting from Sally Acorn, Boomer, and Antoine, infiltrated the base to find Dr. Eggman.[1] After a brief battle with his newest machine, Eggman retreated to the newly launched Death Egg.[2]
- Note: From this point, the Metropolis Zone's history continues from its new existence in the altered timeline.

- The Metropolis Zone is based on the Zone of the same name from the game Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
