Arorua
Arorua was a jungle planet home to fierce monsters spawned from Sith sorcery, such as the squollyhawlk and the silan.
History[]
- "The Sith reached other worlds, including those outside the Stygian Caldera. Tund became a prison for heretics. Arorua housed monsters that were spawned from Sith sorcery. And the worlds of Malachor and Thule were fortified against counterattack from any foe."
- ―Sorzus Syn, Book of Sith[2]
After an invasion by the Infinite Empire of the Rakata species[3] and a civil war[4] on their homeworld Korriban around 27,700 BBY,[5] surviving members of the Sith species colonized Arorua with Rakatan vessels, integrating the planet into the ancient Sith Empire. The Sith created monsters via the means of Sith sorcery,[2] such as the silan and the squollyhawlk.[1] The Jen'jidai Sorzus Syn later wrote of the planet in her chronicle, which was later collected by Darth Sidious into his Book of Sith.[2]
Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi visited Arorua in 44 BBY, where Obi-Wan was nearly killed by a native squollyhawlk. They also met a Moggonite named Mosko Bolpa, and destroyed an ancient silan.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
The text "Arorua" appearing in the comic can easily be misinterpreted as "Arorlia" due to the chosen font making the "U" look like "LI." The Official Star Wars Fact File made this mistake and identified the planet as Arorlia; The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia later corrected the mistake; however, the entry for the Moggonite species still includes the mistake.
