Battle of Togoria (Clone Wars)
A battle took place on Togoria during the Clone Wars.
The battle[]
The battle began with the arrival of Confederacy forces under General Grievous' command, which attacked the planet's small shipyard. Republic forces under General Waldan Bridger arrived to assist in repelling the invaders, only to discover that Togoria and its inhabitants had voluntarily defected to the CIS. Bridger's forces were slaughtered by the native Togorians while Bridger himself perished in a duel with Grievous that lasted less than twenty seconds.
Behind the scenes[]
In the novel The Paradise Snare, it was written that Togoria didn't have their own ships as of 10 BBY, yet Grievous is said to have attacked small Togorian shipyards in 20 BBY, during Clone Wars.
