Bin Prime
Bin Prime was the capital city of Balmorra, after the capital was moved from the city of Sobrik. It was attacked during Operation Shadow Hand, a couple years after the fall of the Galactic Empire.
History[]

Imperial troops advance on Bin Prime.
Sometime between 3943 BBY and 3941 BBY,[3] the capital of Balmorra was moved from Sobrik to Bin Prime.[4]
In 23 BBY, bounty hunter Jango Fett travelled to Bin Prime to capture Groodo the Hutt. Groodo had been hiding at the well-defended castle of his brother Rigorra, the planetary warlord. On Balmorra, Fett ran into Aurra Sing, who had been hunting Rigorra herself for personal reasons. The two hunters successfully infiltrated Rigorra's palace together but were captured along with two other bounty hunters—Bossk and Skorr—who were also hunting Groodo. Fett and Sing managed to escape from Rigorra's clutches and capture their targets. Fett then delivered Rodd and Groodo to Count Dooku on Geonosis, and departed.[5]
Bin Prime was the headquarters of planetary governor Beltane during his administration under the Imperial occupation of the planet. Despite their income from producing Imperial war machines, Beltane wanted Balmorra free from the Empire. After the Battle of Endor, the world broke away from Imperial influence. During Operation Shadow Hand, it was attacked by Executor Sedriss QL, who sent an invasion army towards the capital. Bin Prime was saved by the numerous technological achievements Balmorra had made in the intervening years, as new battle droid models held the force at bay, before they could reach the fortified city's borders.[2]

STAR WARS: The Old Republic - Question ! :) - Page 3 on The Old Republic's official website (backup link) places Star Wars: The Old Republic's base game content about ten to twelve years after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, which is dated to 3653 BBY by Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia. The Prologue and Act I of the class storylines are assumed to take place in 3643 BBY, as they are roughly concurrent to each other and the Jedi Knight Act I storyline is dated to 3643 BBY by The Old Republic — The Lost Suns 2. Additionally,
Forums: Dear Story Team, What Year Are We Currently In? on The Old Republic's official website (backup link) and Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia establish that the Battle of Ilum and the end of Act III for the class stories occur in 3640 BBY. Additionally, Act II for all classes, while featuring conflict between the two factions, occurs prior to the official collapse of the Treaty of Coruscant, which The Old Republic: Annihilation places in the middle of 3641 BBY. Taken together, this means that base game content spans from 3643 BBY to 3640 BBY, and the class storylines extend over this period, this article assumes that Act II takes place within 3642 BBY and the first half of 3641 BBY.
Star Wars: The Old Republic — Codex: "Sobrik" states that Bin Prime became the capital of Balmorra 300 years prior to the events of the game. If a player chooses the Sith Empire, it causes the player to visit Balmorra in Act I, while choosing the Galactic Republic causes the player to visit Balmorra in Act II. Thus, Bin Prime became the capital of Balmorra sometime between 3943 BBY and 3941 BBY.
