Kalyn Farnmir

Kalyn Farnmir was a human female bounty hunter who unsuccessfully tried to pin her crimes on her former partner, Cian Shee.[1] In 22 BBY,[3] Farnmir spent time with Shee in[2] the Outlander Club in the Uscru District of the planet Coruscant.[4] The pair embraced at the club's bar with Farnmir smiling and nodding as Shee departed. Farnmir then leant on the bar and stared at her drink as the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi used a mind trick on[2] the slythmonger Elan Sel'Sabagno[4] beside her. Farnmir was still beside Kenobi when the Jedi drew his lightsaber and used it to cut down the bounty hunter Zam Wesell, who had been about to attack him. At the bar, Farnmir wore a black, high-collared piece of armor and black gloves. She had light skin, gray eyes, and blonde, close-cropped hair.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Kalyn Farnmir was portrayed uncredited[2] by actress Jack Laurian Pascoe[5] in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[2] which was released on May 16, 2002.[6] The club scene was filmed on Stage 3 at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[7] In the current Star Wars canon, Kalyn Farnmir's name was used in the mobile card game Star Wars: Force Collection,[1] which initially launched in 2013. Although the launch of Force Collection predates[8] the Star Wars canon reset of 2014, Lucasfilm Story Group member Leland Chee confirmed that the game was kept updated to fit with canon.[10]

Kalyn Farnmir's name originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first used in a photo caption posted as part of the "Image Attack" feature on StarWars.com on November 21, 2002.[11] Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo created the name as a tuckerized anagram of Mary Franklin,[12] fan-events coordinator at Lucasfilm.[13]
