Liberator (EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate)
The Liberator was a EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate that saw service with the Rebel Alliance Fleet during the Galactic Civil War.[1]
History[]
During a Rebel operation with the objective of obtaining important information from the Imperial Navy CR90 corvette Talon, the Liberator, along with X-wing starfighters from Red and Blue Squadrons engaged the Imperial TIE Fighters running as escorts, while Y-wings from Gold Squadron disabled the Talon.[1]
In that battle, Red Leader Lieutenant Hamo Blastwell's X-wing was damaged and his astromech droid was disabled, forcing him to dock with the Liberator to return to the Independence through hyperspace.[1]
