M-1

M-1, or Em-One, was a scarlet former Imperial mouse droid owned by the former Acolytes of the Beyond member Komat when she lived in exile on the planet Polaar. She used M-1 as as a danger signal due to Polaar's distronic radiation poisoning.^[1] In 21 ABY,^[2] M-1 was the first to greet Lando Calrissian and Luke Skywalker when they arrived at Komat's homestead, though it did with beeping as the two were unprotected and in the early stages of the distronic radiation poisoning. Sometime later, after a skirmish with battle droids sent by Kiza to retrieve kyber crystals Skywalker had discovered, M-1 used an electric saw to severe the head of the lead droid and pulled it to Komat, Calrissian, and Skywalker so they could inspect it.^[1]
