Porgs (Galaxy of Creatures)

"Porgs" is the first episode of the webseries Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures. The episode sees Safari droid SF-R3 attempt to train the porgs of Batuu how to do tricks. It was released alongside the second episode, "Bantha," on StarWarsKids.com on October 14, 2021.[1]
Official description[]
Aree has to reach deep into his bag of porg tricks when he accidentally runs into Batuu's apex predator.
Plot summary[]
SF-R3 ("Aree") and CAM visit the Batuuan wilds to see if they can teach porgs new tricks. While climbing a high mountain, they are followed by a Batuuan braga bear. The droids eventually find a group of porgs whom Aree attempts to teach how to sit with a training clicker. However, he causes one of the porgs to jump into the sky and land far away.
Aree then teaches the porgs to dance. However, one of them spins into the ground, churning up dirt. Aree then decides to teach them simpler things such as waving hello. However, this prompts them to jump up. Aree then attempts to teach them how to play dead. However, the porgs see a braga bear and flee out of the cave. The two droids flee out of the cave. Later, Aree remarks that he learnt from the porgs to run when he hears the roar of a braga bear. He then flees the bear a second time. Later, Aree lists some fun facts about porgs.
Continuity[]
This episode marks the first appearance of the Batuuan braga bear, a creature that was first mentioned in Delilah S. Dawson's 2019 novel Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire.[4]
