Blood magic was one of the topics taught at the school of Auteur's Town, which was populated almost exclusively with members of a "cult" which Auteur would join in her relative future, (PROSE: White Canvas) Faction Paradox. (PROSE: A Bloody (And Public) Domaine) Graelyn Scythes found that she had no talent for it, although she excelled in most subjects at school. (PROSE: White Canvas)
