The Ninth Doctor explained to Rose Tyler that, while humans used the colour red to signify danger, "everyone else" saw it as camp: "All those red alerts, all that dancing." (TV: The Empty Child)

In The Curse of Fatal Death, the newly regenerated Tenth Doctor mockingly identifies the Master as "the camp one", alluding to his "Dalek bumps" which had been referred to as breasts.
