The Cyberon War had been going on for some time by 3009, when the Oblivion Spark chased a Cyberon vessel carrying a new, experimental Conversion Engine out the Jathar Expanse and all the way to Gulliver's Rest. There, the Cyberons escaped through the Merrapine Scar, a time rift, reemerging in 2000. (PROSE: Flight of the Cyberons) According to one account, this was also the year of the end of the War, (COMIC: Before the Storm) although another placed these events in 2777. (PROSE: Cyber-Hunt)
