Mrs H was the housekeeper for detective fiction expert Professor Proven, private detective Mr Sherrinford, and several other sleuths. Having come to resent them for their annoying habits, she joined in Dmitri's scheme to murder them by poisoning their tea. The man investigating the murders deduced her involvement when he discovered that the same kind of teacups used by Sherrinford were also used at the murders of Miss Jane and Hercule Smith, and had her arrested. - Mrs H is clearly intended to be a pastiche of Sherlock Holmes's housekeeper Mrs Hudson.
