Flirting with Sue Richards[[edit] | [edit source]]

Namor flirted with Sue Richards, with Sue admitting that Reed Richards wasn't perfect, but Sue ultimately rejected his advances, as she loved Reed, and couldn't betray that love. (COMIC: April is the Cruelest Month [+]Loading...["April is the Cruelest Month (comic story)"]) When Joyboy granted Sue her heart's desire in a way she wouldn't have wanted, she transformed into the warrior-queen of Atlantis and consort of Namor, much to Reed's disbelief. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Namor the Sub-Mariner was not named in The Incomplete Death's Head [+]Loading...["The Incomplete Death's Head (comic story)"] but was nevertheless recognisable by his pointed ears, short black hair, widow's peak, and arched eyebrows. Furthermore, the aquatic aspect of his person is represented by his "save the whale" badge and sceptical look at the fish in his drink.

First published in 1939, he is the first superhero created by Marvel comics (then known as Timely Comics), and is fittingly has the most prominent cameo in The Incomplete Death's Head.
