Nematodes were creatures sent by the Archaeons to wipe out the humans on Giant Leap Base on the Moon. (AUDIO: The Beginning)
A different type of nematode was native to Antarctica. It was able to survive the cold temparatures by lowering its own freezing point. This ability to survive in sub-zero temparatures was studied by Project Sub-Zero. (COMIC: Blood and Ice)
