From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Posides was a eunuch freedman in Emperor Claudius's Roman Empire in the mid-1st century. He was Greek, born in Asia Minor. During the Roman conquest of Britain in 43 AD, he crossed paths with one or more Time Lords and their companions, potentially including Leora, the Colonel, and/or the Third Doctor.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Born in Asia Minor around forty years prior to the Roman conquest of Britain, Posides had "no actual military expertise" but served Claudius as a Military Secretary. He was a self-centred, ambitious plan eager to advance his position at court. His counsel often ran contrary to that of Claudius's generals. During the British campaign, he advocated for Claudius's forces to continue to advance (GAME: "Non-Player Characters" [+]Part of The Legions of Death, Loading...{"namedep":"Non-Player Characters","1":"The Legions of Death (game)"}) despite the time travellers' warning that they were walking into an ambush organised by another Renegade Time Lord, (GAME: "In the Roman camp" [+]Part of The Legions of Death, Loading...{"namedep":"In the Roman camp","1":"The Legions of Death (game)"}) believing that the strangers were trying to sabotage his position with the Emperor.

In this, he was informally allied with Lucius Geta, the paranoid head of the Emperor's personal guards, who had no particular feelings on military strategy one way or the other, but was inclined to distrust and undermine the strangers on principle.
