Ruthley was the elderly caretaker of Sancroff while he was banished to a security planet. Hating her job and hating her prisoner, Ruthley made a deal with the people of Calfadoria to allow bio-engineered assassins to kill the former Knight of Velyshaa, freeing her from her duties.
