Simon was Sylvie's son. After he died, Sylvie unsuccessfully tried to have him resurrected as a hologram by Aether Beauregarde's machine at the Welkin Sanatorium and Centre for Wellness. She found it difficult to move on from his death and raised a robot son, Thad. (AUDIO: The Lost Resort)
