Overview

Bombs explode simultaneously in landfills and sorting centers around the world. REVERT, an eco-terrorist group, claims responsibility for the attacks. In order to ensure the safety of the population, the mayor of Montreal suspends all garbage collection, turning the city into a giant garbage dump. Judith, a young single mother, must get her asthmatic son out of this stinking hell.

Her solution? Move to Saint-Jérôme, the only municipality in Quebec that seems to live on clean air and green grass. To do this, she must raise a large sum of money. So she dives headfirst into the illegal business of “bougeurs”, those people who make your garbage disappear for a large fee. All this without arousing the suspicions of her sister Laurence, a committed environmentalist, her father, a former garbage collector, and Pascale, a family friend who has just been appointed head of the City of Montreal’s green transition.
