BANGALORE: Kishore Sarja, son of actor Shaktiprasad, died on Saturday. He was 50. He is survived by wife Aparna and son Suraj, 20. Tamil film actor Arjun Sarja has condoled his elder brother's death.
Kishore had been sick for four days ago, and was admitted to Manipal Hospital. Family sources said he died at 8 am.
Including `Alimayya' that starred Arjun Sarja, Kishore has directed many successful Kannada films.

He has worked with veteran directors such as Rajendra Singh Babu, D Rajendra Babu, V Somashekar and Vijayareddy.
`Tutta Mutta', starring Ramesh and Prema, was a hit. Kishore's other films include `Jodi', `Makkalasakshi' and `Bava Baamaida'. He also directed `Vaayuputra', which is on re-recording stage.
