The staff were always eager to help, even with personalized activities like clay pot making and fishing for the kids.

However, I experienced some hiccups understanding the pricing upfront. I was charged for my entire stay before even checking in, which felt a bit off. Additionally, breakfast offerings lacked consistent quality, with some items cold and service slow at peak hours.

The Meandering Pool Villa was a fantastic escape with a private pool right outside, giving you that luxurious vibe. The architectural design, using historical fixtures, adds a unique charm that's tough to beat in the area.

Insects were a significant nuisance, especially around the outdoor areas and the open seafood bar in the evening—definitely a consideration for those allergic to bugs. The outdoor shower in the physically-challenged room had a cockroach issue, hinting at some pest control gaps. Plus, while the Kerala cuisine was authentic, other culinary offerings fell flat on flavor, particularly dessert options, which missed the mark completely.

The staff were super friendly, especially Mr Mahesh who made our ride so comfy. The food at the restaurant was delicious too, can't get enough of those spicy curries! The only thing was the AC could've been a bit stronger. Other than that, it was such a chill experience!
