The Mighty Thor is the title of several comic book series published by Marvel Comics. All of them are associated with the Thor franchise and are set in the shared Marvel Universe.
The original, 1966 The Mighty Thor series was the first ongoing comic to star Thor Odinson and remained the character's only solo comic for many years.

Marvel eventually started adding less-prominent 'legacy" numbering to covers, with the issue number that would have applied if the series wasn't cancelled and relaunched.
