David/Dave “Gruber” Allen (born 1958 in Naperville, Illinois) is a comedian actor, and voice actor. He was first discovered as part of The Higgins Boys and Gruber, a comedy team that also included Steve Higgins and David Anthony Higgins. He is best known for Freaks and Geeks, The Mother Of Invention, and Bad Teacher.
