James Paul Marsden (born September 18, 1973 in Stillwater, Oklahoma) is an American actor, singer and former Versace model.
He is best known for playing Scott Summers in the X-Men Film Series, as well as for his roles in other commercially successful films such as Superman Returns, Hairspray, Enchanted, Hop, and Sonic the Hedgehog (Film Series). Because he often plays the Romantic False Lead, being married to James Marsden is the number one cause of infidelity in movies.
He's similarly notorious for his characters getting less and less screentime with every entry of a franchise he's in.
Not related to voice actor Jason Marsden.
