  • ️Sat Aug 17 2024

"Fox and the weasel" is one of Aesop's Fables.

There was once a fox who found some bread and meat left by shepherds in the hollow of a tree. The famished fox crept into the hiding place and ate all the food. Satisfied, the fox tried to go outseide once, but it fattened itself so much it could not go through the hole anymore. A weasel heard its cries and after learning the fox's problem, the weasel advised it should wait until it is skinny again, so it could get out.
