"Frog and the mouse" is one of Aesop's Fables.

There was once a mouse who formed an intimated acquaintance with a frog. The frog intented to do a mischief one day, and bound the foot of the mouse tightly to its own. And the frog dragged the poor mouse everywhere it went. Once suddenly the frog jumped into the water with the mouse. The frog enjoyed the water, while the mouse drowned, and its carcass floated on the surface, still tied to the frog. A hawk noticed them and carried them up aloft, and both small animals were eaten by the bird.
