Timothy Jude Smith (born 9 June 1982), professionally known as Timmy Trumpet, is an Australian music producer, DJ, and trumpeter. He is known for incorporating trumpet melodies into many of his songs as well as playing the trumpet in live performances.
Timmy started playing trumpet at the age of 4. Ever since then he started to become a trumpet player, being awarded "Young Musician of the Year" at the age of thirteen and becoming the leading solo trumpet in the Australian All-Star Stage Band two years later. Timmy's venture into the EDM scene began when he became a trumpeter alongside the Stafford Brothers in Australian night clubs, and later teaching himself how to DJ.
Timmy released his EP, Sunrise, in 2009. Around that time, Timmy's name is starting to get popular in Australia, that Stevie Wonder selected him to become his supporting act in 2011 and becoming a recurring role in the Stafford Brothers' reality show. In 2014, Timmy released the song "Freaks", featuring New Zealand rapper Savage. The song helped him to gain international fame, charting in various locations around the world and also gets high usage in popular culture. Timmy would later release several songs on Spinnin' Records and make his Tomorrowland debut in 2017, with currently the third-most viewed performance on Tomorrowland's channel only behind Alan Walker's 2018 and Alok's 2019.

Tell me where the tropes at:
- Ascended Meme: In an episode of Today, Timmy Trumpet joins the father and son from the "When Mom Isn't Home" video (where the father plays "Freaks" on a trombone and the son slams the oven door to the beat), where they recreate the original video altogether combined with Timmy's trumpet playing.
- Call-and-Response Song: "Toca"'s pre-drop section (the "oh yeah" part) is often used to hype up the crowd during live shows, where Timmy would shout "Oh Yeah!" and the crowd would also respond with "Oh Yeah!".
- Celebrity Song: "Al Pacino".
- Cool Shades: He often wears these in live performances.
- Genre Roulette: So far, he has released music in the Melbourne Bounce, Big Room House, Psychedelic Trance, and Hardstyle genres.
- Music at Sporting Events: His song "Narco", with Blasterjaxx, is used as the walkout song of Edwin Diaz, the closer for the New York Mets. Timmy himself would attend a Mets game in 30 August 2022, where he would play the song's intro on his trumpet.
- Rock Me, Amadeus!:
- "Toca" is a remix of Johann Sebastian Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor".
- "The King" is a remix of Edvard Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King".
- Signature Instrument: His stage name just gives it away. Not only does he incorporate trumpet melodies in his songs, but he also performs trumpet in live performances.
- Song Style Shift: "Punjabi" alters between Indian music, psychedelic trance in the first drop, and hardstyle in the second drop.
- Special Guest: Brought in the Russian singer Vitas (known for
"The 7th Element") in his 2019 live show at Tomorrowland. The two performed a remix of the aforementioned "7th Element" and a remix of Edvard Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King", later released as "The King".
