- All Just a Dream: As it turns out, the Air Riders that Kirby has been fighting was all just a dream set up by Kabu in order to train him to use other battle vehicles.
- Extra-ore-dinary: Inhaling the Wing Star rider's mace gives him the Iron Copy Ability, which gives him a staff to repel attacks, and a Stone Kirby-like metal form.
- Making a Splash: Kirby inhales the river water to acquire the Water Copy Ability and fights one of the Air Riders with it.
- Mythology Gag: Top Kirby's hat is virtually identical to the Yo-Yo ability.
- Smart Bomb: Kirby acquires the Crash Copy Ability after inhaling 3 bombardment projectiles and uses it to blow up a Destroya.
