Actor joins Michelle Monaghan in relationship drama

Ron Livingston has been cast opposite Michelle Monaghan in indie relationship drama “Fort Bliss,” with Claudia Myers directing from her own script.

Myers is producing with Brendan McDonald and Adam Silver.

Story centers on a female soldier transferred home after a long tour in Afghanistan who struggles to learn how to feel to rebuild her relationship with her 5-year-old son.

Livingston was most recently seen in HBO’s “Game Change” and will be seen in the upcoming “Ten Year” and “The Odd Life of Timothy Green.” He’s been shooting New Line’s horror pic “The Warren Files,” directed by James Wan, portraying the father of a family beset by a haunted house.

Livingston is repped by UTA and Thruline Entertainment.
