In what looks to be his biggest role since leaving “Saturday Night Live” in May, Bill Hader is in talks to co-star with Amy Schumer in Universal’s Judd Apatow pic “Trainwreck.”

Apatow is directing and producing through his eponymous banner. U acquired the script from Schumer, who is also helping develop the project.

Plot details are being kept under wraps.

The pic will bow July 24, 2015. Senior VP of production Erik Baiers will oversee the project for the studio.

Hader is coming off great reviews for his dramatic turn in Sundance pic “The Skeleton Twins,” and can also be seen later this year in the Jessica Chastain-James McAvoy pic “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby.”

He is repped by UTA and Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment. Schumer and Apatow are represented by UTA and manager Jimmy Miller of Mosaic.
