The Brood of Nithogg are storm dragons who used to be part of the Thorignir. However, Nithogg refused to be a puppet of the titan-forged, believing that he would be stronger and more powerful than the titan keepers. He and his brood took residence in the sundered peak of Nastrondir, terrorizing Stormheim. They kill their own kin and other races with no mercy or remorse, and are killers and murderers of the worst sort.

As of the awakening of the Dragon Isles, the brood is still active, led by Nithogg.^[1]

• The brood is ironically validated by the actions of Vyranoth and her liberation of the Thorignir from rule by Odyn and the titan-forged. Despite this, it is unknown if there is any reconciliation to be found between the two broods.
