Solog Roark is a Blackrock orc being held as a prisoner aboard a train at the Iron Docks in Gorgrond.
An engineering prodigy, Solog was responsible for designing and building the Iron Docks and the dreadnaughts that sail the Draenic seas. He's considered a genius around a drydock. After Gul'dan took control over the Iron Horde, Solog refused to drink the Blood of Mannoroth and was imprisoned alongside other Blackrock orcs that refused. Command of the Iron Docks was then given to Admiral Knar.
Solog wants Knar killed, and when the commander does so, Solog goes mercenary[1] and joins the commander's army and aids in the construction of the Garrison Shipyard.

Trivia
- Solog was responsible for the Iron Docks, but refers to it as "some wasteful piece of over-engineering."[2] This possibly indicates that he had to design the docks to someone else's specifications.
- Because Solog does not understand how to work with the human tools, he leaves all ship construction to Yanas Seastrike for the Alliance commanders.
- Solog Roark is voiced by Darin De Paul.
