Examiner Tae'shara Bloodwatcher is a blood elf of the Reliquary. She is the daughter of Tae'thelan Bloodwatcher, and her workers refer to her as a remarkably patient woman and a worthy successor. While Apprentice Telemancer Astrandis described her as having a passion for uncovering hidden secrets,[1] Elementalist Taiyang said Tae'shara stays above many tasks, preferring to delegate.[2]
Background
Battle for Azeroth

During the Fourth War, she ran the archaeological operation at Xibala in Zuldazar on her father's behalf and was eager to make her father proud.[3] Tae'shara oversaw the extraction of all fossils, relics, and artifacts in the area[4] and put out a wanted poster for the spirit that was haunting the ruins.[5] She was not very satisfied with the help she got from the nightborne as she wanted they use her survey equipment[6] and instead asked Horde adventurer to reveal a fossil. Astrandis wanted to move with speed and when he saw that, he went ahead and used his device to expedite the process, which left his fossil unsuitable for display, according to Tae'shara.[7] Afterward, she had the adventurers thin out the predators to allow her workers to do their work.[8] In the meantime, Astrandis located the Eye of Xibala and after a struggle with the Dark Irons managed to teleport the artifact and the body of Urda Direflame back to the Horde camp, and Tae'shara wondered why he brought the body as well.[9]

Years later, she joined the Dragonscale Expedition and traveled to the Dragon Isles. She can be found at the Life Vault Ruins in the Waking Shores where she worked with Taiyang and Acadia Chistlestone on entering the vault. They tried to bring down its protective barrier, but Tae'shara and Acadia had conflicting hypotheses regarding the barrier, preferring to use air element on it. Therefore, she requested adventurers to bring her an Orb of Primal Gales with the help of Scout Ri'tal and Scout Francisco.[2] When Tae'shara tested the orb on the barrier, it was not working, but Taiyang pointed out they needed to use all the elements together. When they did so, the barrier dissipated and the vault was opened.[10] Inside, they found artifacts, including a draconic tablet guarded by a watcher. Once the adventurer defeated the watcher, Tae'shara and Acadia brought items and the tablet back to the camp and started translating it. The two agreed to work on the whole manuscript together.[11]
She later visited Loamm in Zaralek Cavern

Gossip
- Initial at the Life Vault Ruins
We have come a long way, but there is still more to do.
- After the questline
Curious that the elemental orbs became dormant after we dispelled the barrier. Were they titan technology? A reaction of the surroundings? I will study them further.
- At Loamm
The smell here will take some getting used to.
Where can I find Splintered Sparks of Shadowflame?
An excellent question.
The niffen call Zaralek Cavern their home. If you wish to merely use the sparks' power as you explore, they may be able to guide you in your effort to find some if you help them in return.
I have also heard that Malicia in Valdrakken has quite a collection of powerful items... If you wish to use the sparks in battle, perhaps proving yourself against your fellow adventurers in combat will convince her to part with one?
Make your decision prudently. They are a scarce commodity, and you will only be able to select one until more are recovered.
