If this is your first visit you may want to view our past pages. We have links to the pervious pages to your left, this will give you a retrospect and view of the Society's Quest to Honor one of the most famous and listened to musician of all times.

A lot has gone on since our Director Mr. Amos Harris back in the early 1980's unearthed the Nat King Cole Birth House. Amos is a Chicago Native, and DuSable High School Graduate. Amos Harris grew up looking at, and admiring Nat King Cole. He has a living history of Nat from a Child to his un-wavering dedication to the preservation of his Birth House here in Montgomery, Alabama.

Mr. Harris never lost sight of his goal to save the Birth House, and have an annual Celebration on Nat King Cole's Birthday, "March 17th".  The Nat King Cole Society Inc. is about to have their 7th Annual "Birthday Bash". This Celebration will be a very special Celebration here in Montgomery, Alabama. The House has been Moved and the Chambliss Architecture Firm is in place, and we are about to see "Amos Harris's Dream a reality".

This site will never be complete so you have to come back often for the latest on the Nat King Cole Society Inc.  So as you tour the site and think about Nat King Cole, give Amos a big Thank You; also for his vision.

Enjoy the site.
