The newest VeggieTales adventure is coming in March

It's a timeless story of love, courage, and flying pies! Big Idea is proud to announce Duke and the Great Pie War, a royal VeggieTales adventure set in the days of castles, sweet princesses, and brave knights. Based on the biblical story of Ruth and Naomi, Duke will arrive at stores everywhere on March 5.

In this prequel to the classic VeggieTales story King George and the Ducky, the Kingdom of Scone is at war with the Rhubarbarians. Sweet Princess Petunia, a Rhubarbarian herself, is forced to flee her homeland to protect her mother-in-law, Nona (Madame Blueberry).

But Petunia is scorned in the Kingdom of Scone. When Duke (Larry the Cucumber) finds out about her troubles, he risks everything to help her out -- because true love meanings thinking of others first! The story co-stars Mr. Lunt as Otis the Elevated, the French Peas, Mr. Nezzer, Jimmy Gourd, and more favorite VeggieTales characters.

Duke and the Great Pie War also features the short story "Babysitter in De-Nile," in which young Miriam (Laura the Carrot) must come up with a plan to save her baby brother Moses.

And don't miss another classic Silly Song, "The Blues with Larry!" Larry sings the blues in this hilarious installment, with a little help from Blind Lemon Lincoln.
