ImMunoGeneTics DatabaseIMGT, the international ImMunoGeneTics project, is a collection of high-quality integrated databases specialising in Immunoglobulins, T cell receptors and the Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) of all vertebrate species. The IMGT project was established in 1989 by the Université Montpellier II and the CNRS (Montpellier, France) and works in close collaboration with the EBI.IMGT/LIGM is a comprehensive database of fully annotated sequences of Immunoglobulins and T cell receptors from human and other vertebrates. The IMGT server (Montpellier, France) provides, via an easy to use and friendly interface, access to the IMGT/LIGM data, including the IMGT Repertoire based on the IMGT Scientific chart. IMGT/HLA is a database for sequences of the human MHC, referred to as HLA. The IMGT/HLA database includes all the official sequences for the WHO Nomenclature Committee For Factors of the HLA System.
