Hi friends, it's Matt here. I really believe I have the best fans in the world. You are all friends, whether I know you or not. Some of you have paid 2 or even 3 times to this album project in the last minutes to make sure we hit 100%. I can't find the right words to express my joy... I'm overwhelmed. It's not even about the money, it's about your trust in me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Stay tuned for another million Thank-You Videos that I have to catch-up on!! :)

WHAT'S THE BREAKDOWN?

You might be thinking: $20,000?!? That sounds intimidating!

Well imagine it like this: if 1000 of my fans pre-buy the album, we're at $20,000!

My wife Ece and I will both be holding jobs for the next few months following this offer; working hard to fund the album and believe we can save $10,000 between the two of us...but that leaves us 20,000 short of the $30,000 that we need in order to fund the entire project including recording, mixing, and manufacturing. It is a modest amount (especially compared to that of Major Record Labels) to make the kind of album I'm working towards that will match (and surpass) the level of sound recording you've come to expect from me.

PREVIOUS FUNDING

You may be familiar with my previous album 'At Dawn' - it was my 5th album, and a fresh collaboration with world-class musicians (and real original characters!) from Canada and Spain. Several of you may have helped make that album possible by buying hours for us in the studio, and again I say THANK-YOU!! Your generosity was put to great use; We covered 5 and a half days in that it took to carefully mix and do additional recording on 'At Dawn'.

We couldn't have done it without you!

WHEN IS THE RECORD COMING OUT?



I'm shooting for the album to be released first thing in 2013. But it'll be released to you contributors and early funders earlier, this year, as soon as it's manufactured. I feel like I owe it to the contributors of the project to release it as soon as possible!
