Keys to Success
Inspiration
Inspiration is vital to my success in mixed martial arts. Creativity flows naturally from having a love for my craft. I can watch a Jackie Chan film or be dancing salsa, and feel inspired to try a new fighting technique.
Discipline
Few things demonstrates the love you have for your sport more than a disciplined approach to improving your abilities. I'm dedicated to martial arts and have complete confidence in my support team.
Experience
Fighting around the world from a young age is definitely a huge advantage for me. I have had more time than most to develop my fighting style and to become familiar with virtually any competition environment.
Perspective
Everyday is a new reason to be grateful. Taking the time to show appreciation for who and what you have in your life, regardless of how grand, is what grounds me. A massive thank you to all of my supporters.
Leadership
There are few chances to become pioneers in a sport, and fewer people that take advantage of the opportunities when presented. I will be a respected professional athlete that inspires generations of fighters to come.

– Michael ‘Venom’ Page [Bellator 120]
Michael “Venom” Page (MVP) is a world renowned English martial artist. He is well known for his unorthodox fighting style and his notable dance like movement in competition environments. Michael has carried over this unique fight style into his professional mixed martial arts career, from his background in freestyle kickboxing and sport karate. He can be seen eluding his opponents while most often fighting with his “Hands Down”, a fight tactic which his team has coined the “six30”, resembling the downward position of the hands on a clock when the time is 6:30.
His history in combat sports began at the early age of three. Under the instruction of his father, Curtis Page, a Lau Gar Kung Fu Master, his aptitude developed steadily and he then began competing in kickboxing tournaments at the age of five, alongside his siblings, who are also kickboxing world champions. Establishing an early appreciation for the strategy, timing and technical precision involved in freestyle kickboxing/sport karate (also known as “point fighting”), Michael constantly seeks out avenues of inspiration that bolster his identity as a professional martial artist.
